Kelty South Junction

View south to Kelty South Junction. With a great deal of landscaping having been carried out there's not much to see. The original route, from Lumphinnans, curved off to the left, and the newer version, a shortcut built as part of the improvements for the opening of the Forth Bridge, was ahead and to the right. A similar view by J L Stevenson of 1970 can be found in The Last Trains 4 East Central Scotland.
