In 1918, the last year of the First World War, there were 1,072 tram trains running in Budapest. This fleet carried more than 382 million passengers in the city that year. It is now one of worlds largest tram networks, operating on 174 kilometres (108 mi) of total route and comprises 40 lines. One of the newer vehicles in the fleet, a CAF Urbos built in Spain, is seen in September 2023. Number 61 tram at Móricz Zsigmond Körtér M stop. It is coming from Hűvösvölgy which is near to the Children's railway terminus.
