The North British had a yard north of Kelty station, where a large number of lines met. British Railways converted this into a marshalling yard by looping the sidings and adding further sidings. Today it is difficult to believe this was the site of the yard, with sixteen sidings in addition to the main running lines. The view looks north from the southern end of the former yard.
