Mill Hill Broadway
Mill Hill Broadway, looking north from the down slow platform, at 13.07 on Saturday, 25th November 2023. It opened as Mill Hill with the Midland Railway's London Extension of 1868 and became Mill Hill Broadway in 1950. It was completely rebuilt in the mid-1960s concurrently with the construction of the M1 motorway which runs alongside the up platform on the right at the same level, slicing its intrusive way through this rather pleasant north London suburb. The ticket office is squeezed unattractively into a space beneath the M1 where there is also a small bus station, also covered by the motorway.
