Blackhorse Road
Blackhorse Road station, London Overground GOBLIN, looking east, at 11.03 on Tuesday, 24th October 2023. This part of the line was opened as the Tottenham & Forest Gate Railway on 9th July 1894 with the original station beyond the bridge carrying that thoroughfare in the background. When the Victoria Line tube opened here on 1st September 1968, this had a separate station directly opposite the then BR station but on 14th December 1981 this was closed and replaced by the present station on the west side of the bridge with direct access to the Victoria Line. The old station was demolished.
