Arkleston Junction

1 May 1966 and changes are afoot at Arkleston Junction. In this view, looking west towards the landmarks of Paisley, the down slow line has been lifted and a crane is occupying the up fast line. These manoeuvres were part of the conversion from quadruple to double running east of the junction.
