Arnos Grove
Arnos Grove, LU Piccadilly Line, looking towards Cockfosters, with two trains of LU 1973 stock, both on borrowed time, on Saturday, 2nd December 2023. That on the right has just terminated here and is waiting to return west while that on the left is waiting to depart for Cockfosters. These trains were due for replacement in 2020/21 but the pandemic put paid to that; however, the replacement stock is now being tested at Dusseldorf and is due to come into service in 2025.
