Bay Horse
New Avanti Class 807 on test. After the previous days disruption to services caused by Storm Gerrit, the WCML was busy again on 28th December 2023, including a test run by a new Avanti 7-car pure electric unit. Previous test runs that I have seen have been with the hybrid Class 805s. 807002, one of ten sets on order, passes Forton on an Oxley Sidings to Glasgow Central run.
