Sheerness-on-Sea
LMS Jubilee no. 45596 'Bahamas' (1934) at Sheerness-on-Sea during a leg stretch stop at the Isle of Sheppey branch terminus of the Railway Touring Company's 'The Armistice Kentish Belle' excursion, at 12.51 on Saturday, 11th November 2023. The train had reversed at Strood and was hauled to Sheerness by 47746 to the disappointment of those waiting at the terminus, hoping to see the steam locomotive bring the train into the station. This view is at the far end of platform 1 so it was impossible to get any 'full-on' photos, neither here nor from the opposite platform 2 (see my photo, image no. 88128).
