Cricklade: Good progress is being made on the Swindon & Cricklade Railway's half mile extension towards Cricklade and a temporary station at Farrfield Lane. Vegetation has been removed and ditches cleared. The trackbed seems to be in good condition despite the line closing circa 1961 Some of the culverts need repairing but all the group now need is £100,000 to buy the ballast.

Golborne Junction: A pair of Voyagers head from Waverley to Euston at Golborne Junction on 22nd February 2021. On this short stretch of open line the four tracks from Wigan reduce to two, and then almost immediately diverge into two pairs of tracks. Those going left lead to the Parkside triangle while the WCML continues on the right down to Winwick Junction and Warrington.

Hutton Cranswick: Hutton Cranswick, around mid way between Driffield and Beverley, looks to be a well used intermediate station in a thriving village, with a small car park and better than normal shelters. The southbound shelter contains a ticket machine. The former station house and goods shed are both sited alongside the northbound platform. Station Road level crossing is at the south end of the platforms, as seen in this view looking north.

Johnstone: In August 1997 a Glasgow-bound Class 318 calls at Johnstone. These days the station looks a little more welcoming as the blanked-off part of the main building has been brought back into use.
