Drumley Colliery was located on the north side of the railway at Annbank station. For its opening, in the 1890s, a new siding was laid from Annbank Junction on the north side of the railway. Its bing was across the railway in the 'V' of Annbank Junction (where it remains somewhat smaller today).
Underground the pit was connected to Enterkine 9,10 to the south. After closure, the mine was retained as an escape route for Enterkine.
