Bog Hall Junction (1883-1965)

Opened on the Whitby and Pickering Railway.

Description

This junction was south of Whitby station. It was formed between the Whitby and Pickering Railway (1835) and the Whitby, Redcar and Middlesbrough Union Railway (1883).

The junction closed in 1965 with the closure of the line north west towards Middlesbrough. The original railway remains open.
