Description
The station building and single storey 1870s signal box survive at this closed (1970) station. The signal box was replaced by a two storey building opposite in 1903 which survived until 1990 and has been demolished.
Sources vary for the opening date of the older box between 1870 and 1875. Historic England suggests 1870.
