This brick works was built in the Tulligarth Colliery area. It was on the immediate south side of the Stirling and Dunfermline Railway which served it.
It was just east of the Black Devon Viaduct and approached by sidings which primarily served the Tulligarth Colliery Pit No 2 from Tulligarth Signal Box. Approach was by reversal from the colliery.
The railway connection was closed in the 1960s. The railway itself closed in 1980.
The works closed around 1980. The site is noted for the tall chimney which remains on site.
Clackmannan Road station was just to the west, over the Black Devon Viaduct.
