Opened on the Westport and Mullaranny Railway.

Note: text in square brackets is added for clarity and was not part of the location's name.

Description

This was the temporary terminus of the line from Westport. It was replaced by Mallaranny [2nd] on the Achill Extension Railway which ran west to Achill.

The spelling Mullaranny was used for the station.
