Description

This was a four platform station, three through platforms and one bay at the north end.

The main station building was on the west side through platform, with the bay at the north end, to the east was an island platform.

To the south was a double track swing bridge over the River Medina. It actually carried two single track lines which met at the south end of the station.

To the north the line from Freshwater joined at a north facing junction.

The station has been obliterated by subsequent road developments, particularly the A3020 dual carriageway and a junction.
