This staith was at the east end of the Plashetts Colliery Waggonway and consisted of several sidings approached from the south over the Belling Burn.
A further waggonway ran north to Seldom Seen Pit (Plashetts Colliery).
The pit was worked out by 1889 and the waggonway cut back to just south of the Belling Burn.
