Stations opened at Ballymena, Killagan, Ballymoney, Coleraine and Portrush |

/ /1893 | Belfast and County Down Railway Begins steamer operation with vessels operating from Belfast to Bangor. Excursions operated to locations such as Ardglass and Portrush. |
26/07/1899 | Giant's Causeway, Portrush and Bush Valley Railway and Tramway Conversion to overhead lines complete. Extended to Portrush station. |
/ /1909 | Carrickfergus and Larne Railway Laharna Hotel, Whitehead, purchased by the Belfast and Northern Counties Railway. The railway also created a beach by transferring sand from Portrush, built a clifftop path on Black Head and a promenade and small pier. |
