Description

Junction opened 1854. Station at junction opened 1861 and closed 1877 (or 1863?). Public timetables 1862 only.

The junction and lines were re-aligned to the immediate west in 1915, Shanganagh Junction [2nd].

Junction closed with line to Dublin Harcourt Street on 31 December 1958. The remaining line remains open.
