Turfbeg Road Bridge (1848-1982)

Opened on the Scottish Midland Junction Railway.

Description

This bridge, west of the former Forfar South Junction on the Strathmore main line, formerly carried the A926. It is built on a skew and is bridge number 200.

The line closed in 1982 and the road re-routed to the south, partly occupying the former trackbed. The bridge remains and is listed 'B'.
