Cairngorm Mountain Railway: £5M over budget? [The Economist]

The Economist reports that the Cairngorm Mountain Railway^s real costs were £5M over budget. It suggests that the funicular was built to prop up the declining Scottish skiing trade and in the worst case may have to be dismantled at taxpayers^ expense.
