Larkhall construction begins

The Larkhall to Hamilton and Anniesland to Maryhill lines are to be re-opened. A two trains an hour service will run to Dalmuir serving new stations at Larkhall, Merryton, Chatelherault. A station at Dawsholm is planned for the Anniesland to Maryhill section. The ground was officially broken on 24/02/2004 by Transport Minister Nicol Stephen MSP.
