In a very rural Lincolnshire location, Ludborough closed to passengers in 1961 although passenger services from Louth continued to pass through until 1970 and goods trains a further ten years after that. The station has now become the base of the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway and trains run a short distance either side of the level crossing seen here in May 2012.
