Norham Railway Station near Berwick is put up for sale [Journal]

Date: 19/10/2013

Going inside Norham Railway Station in Northumberland is almost like stepping back in time.
The station looks exactly as it did before being closed by Dr Beeching in 1965.
And now, it could all be yours for somewhere over £420,000.
Sale and Partners in Berwick has put the station on the market with offers over that figure invited.
The station was built in 1851 on the North Eastern Railway Line between Tweedmouth and Sprouston Junction, with trains to Berwick and Cornhill in the Railway Tudor style.
Norham was a busy station handling goods for the local shops and parcels for the villagers as well as coal and lime.
