Cambrian Coast railway line from Harlech to Pwllheli to remain closed for at least another ten days [Daily Post]

Date: 11/11/2013

A stretch of the Cambrian Coast railway between Harlech and Pwllheli will be closed until at least Wednesday, November 20, according to Arriva Trains Wales. The road crossing at Pont Briwet, between Talsarnau and Penrhyndeudraeth, Gwynedd has also been shut until further notice, forcing motorists to take an eight-mile detour through Maentwrog. Previously, it was hoped that both the rail and road would re-open on Monday. The update means more inconvenience to travellers who had hoped that train services would resume today.
