A heritage railway has won a £95,000 lottery grant to restore a steam locomotive rescued from a scrapyard. The Severn Valley Railway Charitable Trust said the money will be used to restore number 4930 Hagley Hall, named after a Worcestershire stately home. The money will allow students and apprentices from the railway's training academy, based in Shropshire and Worcestershire, to help with the work.
