Special 'diesel day' held at Llangollen Railway [Daily Post]

Date: 28/09/2014

An historic locomotive joined an equally historic railcar during a special diesel running day on the Llangollen railway on Saturday. The Class 26 loco, built more than 50 years ago, mostly saw service in Scotland but seemed just as happy running along the scenic Dee Valley line from Llangollen to Carrog to the delight of many enthusiasts.
