Plaque for Sir Nigel Gresley railway pioneer unveiled [BBC News]

A blue plaque to commemorate the man who designed the Mallard steam locomotive has been unveiled in a Derbyshire village. The tribute to Sir Nigel Gresley, who helped modernise the rail network in the early 20th century, was placed on his former home in Netherseal.
