Twenty-four hour services will launch on Londons Central and Victoria lines in August. Night Tube, as the service has been dubbed, had been due to start in September 2015, but protracted talks with rail trade unions have resulted in a significant delay. The 24-hour weekend service will be trialled on the Central and Victoria lines first before being rolled out across the Piccadilly, Jubilee and Northern lines in the autumn. [From Richard Buckby]
