Six coaches of a passenger train derailed in northern India on Saturday, killing 23 people and injuring at least 64, officials said. 'Twenty-three people have died and 64 others are injured in the accident. Rescue and relief operations are continuing,' G S Priyadarshi, a top civil official at the accident site told AFP. The Associated Press quoted officials putting the number of injured to at least 81.
