All trains to and from Euston station are to be halted during the Bank Holiday weekend due to engineering works for HS2. Passengers were warned againsttravelling in and out of London unless "absolutely necessary" on Saturday and Sunday. Those who do travel into other London stations face extensive queues for replacement services and diversions as one of the capital's busiest rail hubs is closed over the holiday. To coincide with the closures, Network Rail is also carrying out maintenance work between Watford Junction and Euston.
