Date: 22/05/2018

Approximately 320,000 passengers have used Cambridge North station since it opened on May 21 last year, an average of 6,000 per week. Greater Anglia says more than 10,000 passengers per week are now using the station, with that figure above the operators growth target. A Costa coffee shop is about to open at the station.

I am reliably informed that in a city of 130,000 people, Cambridge has 55,000 'knowledge intensive employees', and 4,400 'knowledge intensive employers'. Which could explain, indirectly, why this new station, opened on 21 May 2017 close to Cambridge Science Park, practically smells of money. Speaking of computers, the disabled parking symbol in the foreground appears to be pixellated.
