Work is set to start this autumn on the north-easts newest railway station. Network Rail will build the new facility featuring two platforms at Kintore. The transport body received planning approval from Aberdeenshire Council earlier this year for the site in the north of the town beside the B987 and Northern Road. A report, which has gone before councillors, said work to clear the site would start in autumn
