A suspect is on the run after a man was stabbed to death on board a train in front of his 14-year-old son. The 51-year-old man died at the scene after receiving multiple stab wounds in a "shocking and violent attack". The victim and his son had boarded the train at Guildford London Road station. The suspect also got on the train there, but the two men are not believed to have known each other. The police have launched a manhunt after the suspect fled the scene at Clandon, the next stop on from Guildford. A number of police officers remain in the Clandon area where several sightings of the suspect have been reported. He is described as a black man of slim build in his 20s or 30s wearing all black with white trainers. Officers and ambulance crews were called to the scene at Horsley station in Surrey at just after 1pm on Friday afternoon after reports a man had been stabbed on board the 12.58pm train service travelling between Guildford and London Waterloo.
