UK: London to Scotland overnight train operator Caledonian Sleeper has unveiled the interiors of its new coaches, which are being built by CAF in northern Spain. Entry into service had originally been scheduled for April 2018 but is now expected by the end of May. The Lowlander route between London and Glasgow/Edinburgh will be the first to be operated by the new stock, with the Highlander route between London and Aberdeen, Inverness and Fort William to follow. Bookings can currently be made for travel on the new fleet from June 2, and the booking system will be updated once the introduction date is confirmed.
