Iconic train to make final appearance at Ayr Station this week [Ayr Advertiser]

Ayr station will be paid one last visit by a classic ScotRail train as it makes its final journeys.

The Class 314 fleet will be withdrawn from service and will stop at Ayr for the last time after 40 years serving Scotlands Railway.

The journey will take place tomorrow as it embarks on routes around Strathclyde that havent seen the trains for a number of years, and on routes that have never seen them.
