The charity which owns and runs the Maid of the Loch paddle steamer has launched an appeal for new volunteers to help keep the ship^s restoration plans on course - and has outlined a host of ambitious plans for the future.

A view of the engine room on the Maid of the Loch in April 2017. It is understood that whilst the engines have turned during 2019, the public will be able to view this during 2020 even if the ship remains tied up at Balloch Pier. Hopefully the Chief Engineer will receive some 'maintenance' before this happens.
