The twelve coach train had arrived on time and stopped just long enough to take on water and get underway again as it was being followed by a late running Carlisle to Leeds service See image [[30269]]. Unfortunately one passenger hadn't heard the revised arrangements, rushed back onto this platform just as the train departed and had to be accommodated on the DMU that arrived a few minutes later. View south towards Ormside and Kirkby Stephen.
