HS2 pioneers UK-first box-slide bridge over the M42 in North Warwickshire [HS2]

Work is to start on Marston Box bridge which will carry HS2 over the M42. This will be the first hi-tech box slide of its kind over a motorway in the UK which will slide a 10,000 tonne bridge into position next year. This unique construction method will dramatically reduce traffic disruption - a quicker and safer solution.
