Work is underway at eight stations in the Scottish Highlands to install 'request to stop kiosks' which will allow passengers to access the next planned service. As part of a broader package of improvements to the line's radio signalling system, worth approximately £5 million, eight stations on the Far North Line will benefit from the addition of the Request to Stop kiosks on platforms.
