Hundreds of commuters are having to make alternative travel arrangements this morning after a vital rail line through Dumbarton and the Vale was closed.

Network Rail has shut the line between Dalreoch and Balloch to allow engineers to carry out 'urgent repairs to the track at Balloch' after reports were received of a collapsed culvert in the area.
