A new campaign is encouraging Metro customers to switch from paper tickets to Pop Pay As You Go in order to save money on the cost of travel.Customers who make the switch to Pop will not see an increase this year - a saving of 85p per journey by going smart. Nexus, the public body which owns and manages Metro, has frozen the price of adult journeys which are made by Pop Pay As You Go. Metro customers need not pay more for the cost of their travel until at least April 2023 by switching to a Pop Pay As You Go product.
