Fairburn 2-6-4T 42265, Standard Class 3 77007 and an unidentified Black 5 were present outside Cowlairs Works in the steaming siding and erecting shop siding during a school railway club visit in June 1964. Some pupils can be seen observing the work in progress on the Fairburn, accompanied by two members of the works staff detailed to show the visiting party round.
