Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited (CMAL) is inviting proposals to transform the former terminal building at Brodick, after the original project became unviable.
Following the completion of the new ferry terminal in 2018, CMAL advertised on the open market for proposals to turn the building into a space, with an emphasis on delivering community benefits.
The successful proposal intended to turn the venue into a cinema. However, primarily due to the post-pandemic rise in the cost of construction materials, the conversion of the structure to a cinema is no longer viable.
