Work progresses on Motherwell railway station expansion [ScotRail]

Work on the redevelopment and expansion of Motherwell railway station is progressing. Now entering the fifth phase of the redevelopment project, work is underway to expand the station concourse which will make way for an enhanced station forecourt and building with glazed roof, creating a brighter, and more modern station. Over the next few weeks, work will continue to take place to lay the foundations of the new expanded concourse and the steel structure which will become the new larger station building will continue to be erected.
