Date: 14/07/2022

Two people were taken to hospital after spending an hour in the water when their boat capsized in the Clyde off Cardross on Thursday.

According to the HM Coastguard, the pair had been in the water for around an hour when they were spotted by the driver of a passing train who stopped to help.

ScotRail initially advised that trains were not running between Helensburgh and Dumbarton after reports of trespassers on the line - until HM Coastguard shed light on the real story.
