The £116 million reinstatement of Levenmouth's railway will help improve the life chances of people in the area, the MD of Scotland's railway has said.

Alex Hynes made the comment whilst speaking at the milestone 100th meeting of the Levenmouth Rail Campaign, which was launched in its current form over eight years ago to make the case for rail services to be brought back since the original lines closure in 1969 [to passengers -RS].
