Renovation of the 1847 terminus building at Burntisland is complete. It has been sympathetically restored and converted into office suites. Behind the scenes however things look a little less formal. The roof of the 1847 building can be seen to the right. At an angle on the left is the 1890 platform building, still in use and staffed. The walkway behind the fence gives access to the Up platform when the ticket office is closed, and the covered ramp lead down to Harbour Place. It's obvious that a structure which was attached to it has recently been removed. Location: Burntisland Company: Edinburgh and Northern Railway 10/10/2010 David Panton
