A saunter back in time takes us back to the P&J headlines on this day in 1970, where Banffshire's last rail link was brutally severed [Tillynaught was demolished, the line closed in 1968], an Aberdeen copper came a cropper when he was assaulted with a chip wrapper, and Aberdeen's uninhibited were urged to audition for controversial musical Hair.
