An addendum has been added to this Railscot article by way of a link to an old poem covering the 10 years (1895-1905) from the cutting of the first sod to completion and the grand opening of the reservoir. The poem (author unknown) was recently discovered by a neighbour of Rosemary Bannister (the current owner of Victoria Lodge) who kindly forwarded a copy on to the website.
